LDC Group donation team visited Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery on 23 January, 2019, bringing New Year greetings and love to 800 poor students of Dharmarajika High School.
The eagerly awaiting students burst into cheers and laughter, as Venerable Sanghanayaka Suddhananda Mahathero, President of Bangaldesh Bouddha Kristi Prachar Sangha, Chief Abbot of Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery, President of Dharmarajika Orphanage, received 34 cartons of school uniforms, including shirts, pants and shoes, from the hands of Mr. Cai Chunlei, Managing Director of Panda Shoes Industry Limited, LDC Group.
In addition to annual donations of school uniforms, LDC Group has been providing monthly food fund since 2016 for more than 600 orphans at Dharmarajika Orphanage run by the Monastery.
The representatives of Southeast Union Ceramic Industries Ltd. and City-Know Global Express Co. Ltd. also donated money to support the noble social welfare programs of the Monastery.
